Tru-gage Model 324-13 LSM

Tru-gage Model 324-13 LSM using mechanical roller and analogue Probe technology.

This machine is used for low spot marking of Wheels in production at a rate of 400 pieces per hour. This machine will Identify the product, select the measuring program and do the inspection as well as place a sticker on the low spot while it ink marks the same lowspot on the tire well of the wheel.
The features inspected are as follows.

  • Runout of the inner and outer tire bead seats
  • Diameter of the inner and outer tire bead seats.
  • 1st-4th Harmonic measurements.
  • Low spot angle and amplitude.
  • Wheel width offset

Tru-gage Model  324-13 LMS PCD. Using laser displacement and Laser scanning technology.

This machine is used for the complete inspection of a wheel measuring all features at 240 pieces per hour. This machine will identify the wheel and select the program. It then proceeds to measure the following features.

  • Runout of the inner and outer tire bead seats.
  • Diameter of the inner and outer tire bead seats.
  • 1st-4th Harmonic measurements.
  • Low spot angle and amplitude.
  • Low spot marking with Drilled sphere section
  • Wheel width & Wheel Offset.
  • PCD Bolt hole & bolt hole depth
  • Positional tolerance of each hole.
  • Centre bore diameter.
  • Cap diameter and Cap depth.
  • Rim horn Thickness outer and inner.
  • Rim wall thickness at tire bead seat.

Tru-gage Model  BC 5500

Tru-gage Model  BC 5500 Balance check machine.
This Machine is an inline Balance check machine measuring the unbalance in the machined casting.
An ID station identifies the wheel as well as the position of the valve hole. The wheel is loaded on the balance box and the Top and Bottom dynamic unbalance readings are taken. The Static unbalance is recorded. The wheel is then unloaded and the values are written on the tire well with inkjet. Wheels out of tolerance are reworked using the printed information.

This machine offers a production rate of 240 wheels per hour.

Tru-gage Model BC 6600 Balance check machine.
This machine is an inline /in-cell Balance check machine measuring the unbalance in the machined casting.
The Pre-identified and positioned wheel is loaded on the balance box and the Top and Bottom dynamic unbalance readings are taken. The Static unbalance is recorded. The wheel is then unloaded and the values are written on the tire well with inkjet. Wheels out of tolerance are reworked using the printed information.
This machine offers a production rate of 140 wheels per hour
